Rock-it Radio which has been online since 1997 -- For the last few months has had a rockin' new Rockabilly DJ -- Ken Abruzzi and him and his show goes as Rockin' Daddy O's Rockabilly Ranch Party. His shows can be listened to world wide over the Internet thru Rock-it Radio. His lastest show is Rock-it Radio show #2444.

| Former Rockabilly Star, Politician Bobby Lee Trammell Dies

From Jonesboro’s KAIT Channel 8:
Former Rockabilly Star, Politician Bobby Lee Trammell Dies
Region 8 News has learned that former state Representative and current Craighead County Quorum Court member Bobby Lee Trammell of Jonesboro has died. Trammell died last night at his home in Jonesboro. He was 74.
Trammell rose to regional fame as a rockabilly musician in the fifties and sixties. Later in life, he entered the political realm, and served terms in both the Arkansas House of Representatives as well as the Craighead County Quorum Court.
Funeral services for Mr. Trammell are set for Saturday morning at 10 at the Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pall bearers will include Judge Dale Haas, former state lawmaker Jerry Allison and members of the Craighead County Quorum Court. |

VLV is now just under 2 months away and things are really busy here. This is when we start to remind you of things to make sure everything runs smoothly for you so please take a moment to read these newsletters. |
| BOOKING RECEIPTS & REF #'s ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you have booked already for VLV you should have received a booking receipt. This shows your reference number and at the bottom, the list of all of the people and cars in your booking. If you have NOT received this email, please email us ASAP so that we can send you a copy. To email, please click HERE This is very important as it could save you a lot of time checking in at VLV. |
CHECK IN TIMES ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We have taken a lot of steps to eliminate the check in lines at VLV. We will have more computers to check you in, better trained staff and longer opening hours. on the Thursday the check in will now open at 9am instead of 1pm. This we feel will make a major improvement to the checking in process. |

I was able to get that increased to 250 but that is all. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  VLV 11 merchandise has some of our best designs ever. This year we have no less than 10 new designs on a whole new range of products and well as the regular favorites. Please take time to visit the NEW, LARGER VLV MERCHANDISE BOOTH in The Arizona Room of The Gold Coast. There will also be a VLV merch booth at the car show but it will not have the full range.

VLV WRISTBANDS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I would like to remind you that the price of the VLV wristband goes up on March 22nd. But there is a strong chance that VLV will sell out before then. Please don't wait until the last minute in case we do sell out. Also, any availability of buying one on the day cannot be guaranteed. The last few years we have had to turn away a lot of people.

Coming to Las Vegas OCOTOBER 2nd - 6th 2008
Coming soon is the ROCKABILLY RAVE USA. This will be held every October in The Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas. It is organised by JERRY CHATABOX (of The Rockabilly Rave) and TOM INGRAM (of Viva Las Vegas). This group is for you to discuss the Rockabilly Rave USA, to connext with other attendees and for us to post information and news about what is sure to be a great event.
